LY Communications Corporation (formerly LINE Fukuoka) celebrates the 10th anniversary of its establishment in Fukuoka City on November 18, 2023.
Since its establishment, the company has grown to become one that can oversee everything from planning to operations of the LINE various services. With the merger between group companies in October 2023, we are embarking on a new journey as “LY Communications” while deepening coordination with our new colleagues across the country.
We sincerely appreciate the support that we have received from everyone in Fukuoka over the past ten years. To mark this momentous year, we have created a message to express our gratitude by leveraging the rich creativity of our employees, who have supported LY Corporation’s (“LY” below) services.
Our 1,871 employees will unite to continue challenging themselves to become the “No. 1 Communications Company” by taking communication with all users to the next level, as well as providing safe and stable experiences that also deliver “WOW” and “!”.
■ A Message from Our company
Ten years ago, our company launched with the message of “LINE Fukuoka starts here.” Thanks to the support of those who use LINE services and who we connected with through LINE Fukuoka’s initiatives, we have come this far.
This fall, we merged with Yahoo Japan’s CS Division and changed our company name to LY Communications. Our company remains in Fukuoka, and has expanded to include related offices in Aomori, Kitakyushu, Kochi, Oita, Okinawa, and Tokyo. Our 1,871 employees will continue to challenge themselves in an effort to create services that are even more beloved than before.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped LINE Fukuoka grow. We are not leaving Fukuoka City, and even though our company name no longer includes the word “Fukuoka,” we are still a company that is rooted in the area, so we hope we can maintain the bonds we’ve forged.
